RQF LEVEL 3 AWARD IN PERIODIC INSPECTION, TESTING & CERTIFICATION OF ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS

COURSE OVERVIEW

The course is for experienced electricians who are responsible for periodic inspection and certification of electrical installations. This qualification, along with the RQF L3 Award in Initial Verification & Certification of Electrical Installations qualification, replaces the City & Guilds 2391 Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations qualification.

The new RQF qualifications mean that electricians can specialise in either inital verification & certification or periodic inspection of electrical installations. Alternatively electricians can attend both courses when the appropriate level of onsite experience in each sector has been achieved.

The cost of the course includes training, assessment and the certification fee.

The qualification requires the candidates to undertake a practical and written assessment. The assessment is open book and will be completed as part of the course.

LCL Awards is an OFQUAL approved Awarding Organisation. The qualification is recognised by the Joint Industry Board (JIB) and Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) and is a direct equivalent of the City & Guilds 2395.
