LEVEL 3 AWARD INITIAL VERIFICATION & CERTIFICATION OF ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS

COURSE OVERVIEW

The course is for experienced electricians who are responsible for the initial verification and certification of electrical installations. This qualification, along with the RQF Level 3 Award in Period Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations qualification, replaces the City & Guilds 2391 Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations qualification and equivalent.

The new Level 3 RQF qualifications mean that electricians can specialise in either initial verification & certification or periodic inspection. Alternatively electricians can attend both courses when the appropriate level of onsite experience in each sector has been undertaken.

The cost of the course includes training, assessment and the certification fee.

The qualification requires the candidates to undertake a practical and written assessment. The assessment is open book and will be completed as part of the course..
