COURSE OVERVIEW
Excel College’s 18th Edition Wiring Regulations course is for experienced electricians and those requiring a working knowledge of the British Standard BS7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
The cost of the course includes training, assessment, registration and the examination costs.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
There are no pre-requisite qualifications required. However some experience of electrical installations is essential.
DO I NEED THIS COURSE?
The 18th Edition Wiring Regulations course provides the qualification required by operatives who are members of, or are looking to become members of, any Part P Competent Person Schemes (CPS).
COURSE CONTENT/SYLLABUS
The 18th Edition Wiring Regulations course involves classroom based training which focuses on the wiring regulations standard BS7671. There is no practical based training. At the end of the course operatives will complete a two hour assessment in the format of multiple choice questions. On successful completion, operatives will gain 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certificate.
READING MATERIAL/TEXT BOOK REQUIRED?
Candidates must purchase a copy of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671:2018 prior to attending the course.
Excel College does have copies of the book available to purchase at its centre. However candidates are advised to obtain the book ahead of the course and be familiar with its contents.
